Viktor Yushchenko visited his Alma Mater!
Viktor Yushchenko, a West Ukrainian National University graduate and President of Ukraine from 2005-2010, visited the University.
At the invitation of Anastasia Melnychuk, President of the NGO "Young Diplomacy Centre", which runs at the Law Faculty of WUNU, Viktor Yushchenko met with students, faculty and staff.
Viktor Yushchenko and the Supervisory Board of WUNU also inspected the shelters, classrooms, electronic resources hall, international centre for culture and development, and visited the immersive multifunctional hub operating at West Ukrainian National University. Nazar Ivanitskyi, Head of Digital Transformation, and his colleagues spoke in more detail about this innovative environment, focusing on modern technologies and equipment, the advantages of the hub, and its capabilities. Later, they visited the Education and Research Centre for Social and Psychological Support and Resilience, opened with the support of the Israel Trauma Coalition and the Jewish Federation of North America. The centre's specialists outlined the main areas of work: restoring mental health and personal autonomy, helping employees, students, military personnel and their families, Ternopil residents and visitors in difficult life situations, and developing their own stress resistance.
