Meeting with the co-founder of the Ukrainian Turkic Centre, curator of Ukrainian-Azerbaijani projects Maryna Honcharuk
As part of the Diplomacy and International Cooperation project, on 15 February at 13:00, a meeting will be held with Maryna Honcharuk, co-founder of the Ukrainian Turkic Centre and curator of Ukrainian-Azerbaijani projects.
During the meeting, we will discuss topical issues of Ukrainian-Azerbaijani relations in wartime, as Azerbaijan is our strategic partner in accordance with the National Security Strategy of Ukraine, supports the territorial integrity of our country and provides humanitarian assistance. The Azerbaijani people know what occupied territories mean, the problem of refugees, and after the 44-day war, what de-occupation means, the problem of demining, restoration and reintegration of territories. But is the dialogue with Baku sufficiently developed today? How do Azerbaijani media cover Ukrainian issues and Russian aggression? What areas of cooperation are priorities in wartime? Is the area of cooperation between Kyiv and Baku promising for professional development? What is the mood among the Azerbaijani community in Ukraine and is it sufficiently integrated into our society? You will learn more about this and more during the meeting, and each participant will be able to ask the speaker questions and get a comprehensive answer.
The Diplomacy and International Cooperation project is being implemented within the framework of the International Sustainable Development Studio, a training laboratory of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of B.D. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations and the Progress Island of West Ukrainian National University.
