Workshop "HR profession and recruitment in IT"
A workshop "HR Profession and Recruitment in IT" organised by the Alumni Relations Coordinators was held in the Electronic Resources Hall of West Ukrainian National University.
The meeting was attended by students of WUNU who are eager to acquire new knowledge and practical skills in the field of HR and recruitment in the IT environment.
The speakers of the workshop were:
Kateryna Mysenko - author of training programmes for HR and recruiters, with over 5 years of experience in HR. Kateryna has worked her way up from a recruiter to HR director;
Yulia Lozynska - career advisor, speaker, senior recruiter with 2 years of experience. Yulia has conducted over 1000 interviews and screened over 3000 CVs.
During the workshop, the participants learnt about the specifics of HR in IT companies, reviewed real HR cases in practice, built a profile of an HR specialist, found out whether they meet the requirements of a modern employer, and were given the opportunity to be interviewed with valuable gifts (if they had a CV).
The alumni coordinators invited experienced speakers, prepared an interesting and informative programme, created a comfortable atmosphere for learning and communication, and provided participants with the opportunity to gain practical skills.
Thanks to the joint efforts of the coordinators, speakers and participants, the HR Profession and Recruitment in IT workshop was a truly successful event.
