Training in the immersive multifunctional hub
Members and trainers of the Financial Education group of the Yuriy Department of Finance of WUNU got acquainted with the functions of the first immersive multifunctional hub in Ukraine, which operates at West Ukrainian National University.
Nazar Ivanitskyi, Head of the Digital Transformation Office, said that the immersive multifunctional hub is a space where students, teachers and staff have free access to innovative and digital technologies. It was created at the initiative of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, with the support of UNDP in Ukraine and funding from the Government of Japan, under the coordination of the NGO "Educational and Analytical Centre for Community Development" and with the assistance of Cisco Systems, the technical partner of the space.
Students and teachers were particularly interested in learning in an immersive environment and in the opportunities to interact with three-dimensional models and simulations. As part of the hub's work, it is possible to organise online meetings, conferences, implement research projects, and create an interactive space for teamwork.
The participants also took tests to determine their psychological health using modern software. Diana Krysak, a specialist of the Digital Transformation Office, told the attendees more about this.
