Win an internship in Oxford!
The Education and Research Institute of Communications of West Ukrainian National University invites students of the educational programme "Psychology of Negotiation and Mediation" to take part in the competition for an internship at Saïd Business School of Oxford University (UK).
During a recent meeting between Oksana Koval, Director of the Institute, and Paul Fisher, Director of the Oxford Negotiation Programme (OPN), Professor at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, the British side offered two free internship placements for future negotiators in the Oxford Programme on Negotiation.
This programme is run twice a year and is considered to be one of the most renowned negotiation programmes in the world.
During the internship, students will have the opportunity to analyse complex negotiation cases and practice theory through role-playing and simulations, many of which are written by experienced Oxford lecturers.
The main topics of the internship include: preparing for negotiations; creating value in negotiations; understanding decision-making in negotiations - how to negotiate rationally in an irrational world; group decision-making in negotiations; negotiating in multi-party situations; persuasive communication in negotiations; negotiating in a changing environment; conflict, value, perspective and negotiation culture; securing a deal.
After completing the internship, all participants will receive a lifetime membership in the Oxford Business Alumni network.
The competition is open to students of the "Psychology of Negotiation and Mediation" study programme, subject to:
- completion of the application form (including a short motivation letter and an attached high-quality CV);
- fluency in English.
The competition will be held in two stages:

Preference will be given to applicants with at least 10 years of experience in management in the private, public or non-profit sectors.
