WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 Recently, one of the biggest events for students of grades 9-11 and 1-2 years of college took place - the NATUS VINCERE Open Intellectual Tournament for WUNU Rector's Cup. This year's event brought together more than 450 students to compete for the championship. The smartest, most creative and extremely talented teams from all over Ukraine competed in fierce debates, where they had the opportunity to defend their opinions and provide convincing arguments.

They tested their accuracy with an empirical task, showed their ingenuity and extraordinary thinking in a brainstorming session. The most enjoyable moment of the intellectual battle is the awarding of the winners and participants of the tournament.

Unfortunately, we are living in a time of war, and this year we were not able to hold the entire tournament in peace again.

The awarding ceremony took place amid the sound of an air raid alarm in a bomb shelter, but this did not prevent our teams from receiving well-deserved awards. This year, the following educational institutions won prizes:

-Section "Law"
1st place - team "CARPE DIEM" (N. Yaremchuk Lyceum School No. 6)
2nd place - the team "VERITAS" (secondary school №3)
3rd place - the team "Banners of Law" (secondary school №19)
-Team "Planet 24" (secondary school №24)

-Section "Law enforcement"
1st place - the team "SEALs-lawyers" (V. Gurniak secondary school №27)
2nd place - team "Squad of Themyscira" (Zolochiv ZZSO №1)
-Team "Lawland" (Kremenets Academic Lyceum named after Ulas Samchuk)
3rd place - "Like-minded Themis" (VCEEIT ZUNU)

We would like to thank the Ternopil City Council for its annual support of this event, the Alligator health complex, the construction company Creator-Bud, the Mamont restaurant for the catering for our tournament participants, as well as the Podolyany shopping mall, Gadz Farm, Konstanta Law Group LLC, and the GudFood market.

We believe that the next Ⅷ NATUS VINCERE Intellectual Tournament will be held in peacetime!
