International Internship at the Ljubljana School of Business

 Within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA1 project: "Learning Mobility of Individuals" from 13 to 17 May 2024, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of International Economics Mariia Lysun, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of International Tourism and Hospitality Business Maryna Nahara, and Senior Specialist and Translator of the International Relations Office of the WUNU Viktoriia Korobii paid a working visit to the Ljubljana School of Business, Slovenia.


The main purpose of the trip was to participate in the Erasmus International Staff Week, which provided for the improvement of teachers' professional competence, deepening of knowledge, skills and practical abilities in the application of modern models and methods of teaching students.


On the first day of the internship, the delegation of West Ukrainian National University fulfilled an important mission by presenting a commemorative award to the leadership of the Ljubljana School of Business as a reliable partner of WUNU. During the networking event, Mariia Lysun and Viktoriia Korobii presented the achievements and activities of West Ukrainian National University, highlighting its international cooperation.


WUNU representatives also took part in the VI Eastern European Conference on Management and Economics (EECME 2024), which was held in a mixed format. Maryna Nahara, Associate Professor of the Department of International Tourism and Hospitality Business of the B.D. Havrylyshyn Institute of International Relations, made a presentation "Enterprise Ecosystem and Sustainable Development: Immanent Interdependence".


Throughout the week, the delegation members took part in workshops and case studies together with representatives of higher education institutions from 13 partner organisations of 9 countries: Albania, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Georgia, Montenegro, Romania, Slovenia, and Ukraine.


The international academic mobility of WUNU faculty members to Ljubljana School of Business provided an opportunity to work in an international team, deepen intercultural understanding and gain experience from foreign colleagues. Negotiations were also held to deepen cooperation and develop joint international projects. The knowledge gained, skills acquired and competences formed will be implemented in the scientific activities and educational process of WUNU!
