A student of WUNU college is a silver medallist of the Romanian Basketball Championship
Petro Bilous, a student of the Professional College of Economics, Entrepreneurship and IT of WUNU, became a silver medallist at the U-16 Basketball Championship of Romania. According to the results of the championship, Petro was picked for the top five dream team of the Romanian U-16 Championship.
He is a candidate for the Ukrainian cadet team.
In 5 games of the peer-to-peer championship playoffs, Petro averaged 18.8 points, 9 rebounds (both in the top 10 of the tournament) and 1.1 assists (in 26:49 minutes).
In 7 U-16 Euroleague games in the international arena, he averaged 16.6 points in 25 minutes, becoming the team's best scorer, and also had 7 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1 assist. His efficiency rating is 11.6.
Before playing in Romania, Petro Bilous played basketball in Ternopil, Odesa and Italy. Last year, he was one of three players born in 2008 who were called up to the U-16 European Championship training camp.
Ukraine's U-16 cadet team will compete at the European Championships in Northern Macedonia in August.
