Training course on first psychological aid for employees of the State Labour Service
Employers and employees of the State Labour Service focus on occupational safety, psychosocial support, self-care and care for others. Thus, the training course on first psychological aid was of great interest to employees of the Inspection Department in the Ternopil Oblast of the South-Western Interregional Department of the State Labour Service.
Alla Senyk, a specialist of the Education and Research Centre for Social and Psychological Support and Resilience of West Ukrainian National University, conducted productive and inspiring training sessions for them, during which the participants learned how to help themselves and provide emotional support to others when they are in acute stress during or after a traumatic event, and learned how to shore up their internal resources and prevent professional burnout.
