Meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine
West Ukrainian National University hosted an online meeting of students of the International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies study programme with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Seymur Mardaliyev as part of the project "Diplomacy and International Cooperation" developed by the Head of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy Oksana Tulai.
The students and the speaker discussed the current political situation, the first visit of the current President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy outside Ukraine to Azerbaijan in 2019, transport links and logistics routes between Azerbaijan and Ukraine, trade and economic cooperation, agriculture, humanitarian aid to Ukraine from Azerbaijan, psychological and medical assistance.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Seymur Mardaliyev gladly answered the questions of the students of the International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies study programme about the current priority areas of cooperation between Ukraine and Azerbaijan, which projects will help strengthen the bilateral dialogue, and the role Heydar Aliyev played in the development of Ukraine-Azerbaijan relations.
The project "Diplomacy and International Cooperation" (Conversation 9) is implemented within the framework of the International Sustainable Development Studio of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of the Bohdan Havrylyshyn Educational and Research Institute of International Relations of WUNU and the Ukrainian-Turkish Centre.
