At the invitation of the President of EYFON, Dr Christoph Leitl, students majoring in Business Communications and Translation (Anna Burchyk, Svitlana Kvasnytska, Elvira Prusova, Anastasiia Petskovych, Kateryna Shum and Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages and Information and Communication Technologies Olha Tsaryk are taking part in the European Youth Forum in Neumarkt (Austria) from 10 June to 14 June 2024.

Students are actively involved in the programme, studying sustainable education, social issues, intercultural competences and European mobility programmes. Special attention is paid to the role and future of young people in the European context.

The workshop on leadership and communication issues "Leadership and Communication: Embracing Al Opportunities and Risks" was especially interesting for our students.

Along with seminars and lectures, an interesting social programme ensures balance and cohesion, and strengthens intercultural understanding.

Students share their impressions:

Svitlana Kvasnytska (BCP-42): "This trip provides students with a unique opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills in an international environment, to exchange experience with other forum participants from different countries and cultures. Participation in the forum contributes not only to academic growth, but also to personal development, including leadership, effective communication and critical thinking skills. We also have the opportunity to discuss topical issues of European integration and the role of young people in shaping the future of Europe, which is extremely important in the context of today's global challenges."

Elvira Prusova (BCP-31): "We met wonderful people from all over the world. We learnt about their culture, history, and traditions. This experience will be remembered for a lifetime. We are very grateful for the opportunity and would be happy to come here again!"
