Discussion platform "Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant: Present and Future"
The Department of International Tourism and Hospitality Business of the Bohdan Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations of WUNU hosted a discussion platform "Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant: Present and Future", a relevant and informative event that brought together scientists, educators and practitioners.
The platform was opened by Uliana Koruts, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Research (International Relations): "Today, each participant has a great opportunity to share experiences and new ideas, discuss challenges, trends and prospects for the development of the tourism industry. I wish you all a fruitful debate, interesting thoughts, innovative solutions and successful networking to develop joint solutions!"
An important part of the event was the debate on innovations in the hotel business, improving the quality of service and effective management of restaurants.
Participants shared their thoughts on creating a sustainable and responsible tourism infrastructure that takes into account the environment and the needs of the local population, focused on the challenges of digitalisation and the Internet of Things in the hotel industry, which opens up new opportunities for personalising services and collecting customer data.
A representative of the clergy, Maksym Riabukha, made a presentation on the development of pilgrimage tourism.
Speakers of the meeting (Yuriy Deyneka, Oksana Olyvko, Volodymyr Harkavyi, Leonid Bytsiura, Yulian Huk, Denys Katiukha, Marta Standret, and Olena Standret) highlighted the development and implementation of various projects in the hospitality and tourism business.
