During 15-22 June 2024, the Head of WUNU's International Relations Office Yuliia Voitsyshyn, the Director of the International Centre for Culture and Development Olha Tsaryk and the International Communications Specialist of the Centre Liliia Krysovata together with students Diana Varenytsia, Viktoriia Hnativ, Viktoriia Shandrivska, Anastasiia Kominkova, Karolina Ponikarchyk, Oleksandra Seniuk, and Anastasiia Matviiishyn took part in the EYFON International Youth Forum in Neumarkt, Austria.

EYFON is a prestigious international forum that annually brings together young leaders, activists and students from all over Europe and the world. The main goal of the event is to create a platform for dialogue, learning and exchange of ideas on how to solve global problems through negotiation and intercultural understanding. Such meetings play an important role in shaping future leaders who are able to work effectively in a multicultural environment and solve complex international issues.

During their stay in Austria, WUNU representatives delivered a lecture entitled "The Importance of Intercultural Communication in Establishing International Cooperation", which was dedicated to the role of communication in peace-building and its impact on conflict resolution and the development of a diverse society.

In addition to the official programme of the forum, the participants had the opportunity to learn about the history of Austria, which helped them to better understand the context of the forum and the need for cultural exchange between the two countries.

Yuliia Voityshyn, Head of the International Relations Office of the WUNU, said: "Participation in EYFON is not just an opportunity to exchange experience, it is a chance to get involved in shaping the future of international relations. Our students have demonstrated excellent skills and active citizenship, representing Ukraine in the international arena with dignity."

Such events help to raise awareness of youth about the pressing issues of the modern world. They also inspire young people to actively help shape the future of their countries and the world.

WUNU intends to keep actively participating in such international events, expanding opportunities for its students and teachers in the field of international cooperation and intercultural dialogue.
