Scientific and Practical Conference "Innovative Approaches to the Development of Technology and Economy" at the Zakarpattia Education and Research Institute of WUNU
The Zakarpattia Education and Research Institute of West Ukrainian National University hosted a scientific and practical conference "Innovative Approaches to the Development of Technology and Economy", which brought together scientists and educators, government officials, postgraduate students and undergraduates to discuss topical issues of implementing an interdisciplinary approach in research, forming research groups to strengthen the practical orientation of scientific developments.
The conference was opened by Mykola Dyvak, Vice-Rector for Research, who said in his speech: "Modern challenges and the rapid development of technology require us to take innovative approaches in all areas of activity. Today's event is an important platform for the exchange of experience, ideas and designs, which will contribute to the further development of science and economy of the region and the country as a whole!"
Lesia Dubchak, co-chair of the conference and head of the Department of Computer Engineering at WUNU, reported that more than 100 abstracts were submitted to the conference, with representatives from 10 educational institutions from all over Ukraine, as well as foreign students and postgraduates.
Edita Hrabar, Director of the ZERI, addressed the audience: "Dear colleagues! The pace of innovation is increasing every year, and we must be prepared for the rapid introduction of new technologies and adapt to the economic challenges of today. Global changes pose new challenges that we can only solve by working together. I am convinced that the conference will be marked by lively discussions, so I invite each participant to present their achievements and enjoy working together!"
The Director of the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration Mariana Marusynets, the General Director of the Kvitka Polonyny sanatorium of Suzirya LLC Pavlo Hanynets, and the Head of the Department of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports of the Mukachevo City Council of Zakarpattia Oblast Mykhailo Labosh also joined the opening ceremony.
Participants worked in various sections: topical issues of financial theory and practice; transport and logistics; IT technologies: current state and development prospects; construction and civil engineering; public administration: improvement and development; international cooperation, European integration and sustainable development of society; psychological aspects of personal and civil society development in modern conditions; current trends and prospects for the development of education and science: global and Ukrainian experience; national and regional trends in the development of innovative entrepreneurship and trade; economic paradigm of the development of inclusiveness of public institutions in the post-war period; strategic management of the inclusive economy; social and psychological rehabilitation in the conditions of war.
