Students of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of WUNU share their experience of participating in the Erasmus+ project
Svitlana Pikina, a student of MVSK-31 group (educational and professional programme "International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies"), brand ambassador of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of the Bohdan Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations of WUNU, tells about her participation in the Erasmus+ project:
"My first experience of participating in the Erasmus+ project Skills Shift exceeded all my expectations! The project participants arrived in a small village in Poland. It's hard to remember the first impression after a several-hour journey, but friends from Poland, Ukraine, Turkey, Armenia, Romania, and Serbia inspired unforgettable memories.
The aim of the project was self-improvement. Through workshops, lectures, teamwork, and sharing a room with representatives of different countries, the participants improved their adaptability, self-presentation, and socialisation skills.
Despite the fact that all the participants spoke English at different levels, we were able to find common ground and even create the conditions for keeping in touch in the future.
A special part of the project that will always remain with me is the cultural exchange. Thanks to the culture nights organised by representatives of each country, we were able to experience the atmosphere of that country for a few hours.
To better understand my emotions, I advise everyone to join the large network of students of the International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies study programme and try their hand at youth exchange projects!"
