WUNU dancers at the Dance World Cup
For the second time, the New Ject Dance troupe of West Ukrainian National University is participating in one of the most famous and prestigious dance championships in the world - Dance World Cup. Selected dancers from all over the world demonstrate their abilities and choreography skills.
"We are proud of the results of our students," says Yana Tkach, artistic director of the team, "young dancer Yana Bezkorovaina took 10th place in the children's category in street dance among 26 participants. Khrystyna Paliy came 4th in street dance among 34 participants and 5th in commercial dance among 23 participants from around the world. And the team performance of the team proudly upheld its honour among strong rivals in the "large group" category in street dance, as the dancers took 8th place among 33 impressive teams."
