West Ukrainian National University has joined a network of the Council of Europe's educational platforms for judges, prosecutors and lawyers!
HELP is the main educational platform of the Council of Europe for judges, prosecutors and lawyers. The Council of Europe's HELP network is the only pan-European human rights training network. It is composed of representatives of national judicial and prosecutorial training institutions and bar associations from 46 Council of Europe member states and other countries (www.coe.int/help).
Svitlana Mazepa, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure at the Law Faculty of WUNU and international researcher at the University of Osnabrück (Germany), was selected as an expert of the Council of Europe's Legal Education Improvement Project.
From 2 to 5 July, the lecturer studied in France and took part in the annual Council of Europe HELP (Human Rights Education for Lawyers) networking conference in Strasbourg.
A Memorandum of Cooperation with the Council of Europe will soon be signed.
