Meeting with the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania in Ternopil Yaroslav Vizniak

 The Rector of West Ukrainian National University Oksana Desyatnyuk met with the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania in Ternopil Yaroslav Vizniak and certified management consultant, director of Jostra CJSC Jonas Stravinskas.


Uliana Koruts, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Research (International Relations), and Vasyl Brych, Director of the Education and Research Institute of Innovation, Nature Management and Infrastructure, joined the conversation.


Rector Oksana Desyatnyuk said, 'We are delighted to meet with you today during the Sixth International Week, Mr Honorary Consul. International cooperation is a key priority for our university. We place great emphasis on grant and project activities and would be grateful for your assistance in establishing contacts and meeting with foreign experts.'


'We are here to propose a collaboration in the field of education with leading specialists from Lithuania. Our goal is to involve Lithuanian psychologists in Ukraine in the areas of rehabilitation and psychological support for students, teachers, and children in need of assistance during the war,' said Yaroslav Vizniak, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania in Ternopil.


Jonas Stravinkas, Director of Jostra Consulting, stated: 'We have extensive experience that we are eager to share with you on Ukraine's path of integration into the European Union. We can provide invaluable assistance in the following areas: raising funds for university development projects and offering methodological guidance in project writing and evaluation.'


The colleagues have agreed to engage foreign specialists in collaboration with the teaching staff of the Education and Research Institute of Innovation, Nature Management and Infrastructure in the field of ecology and interaction with the Education and Research Centre for Social and Psychological Support and Resilience.
