Cooperation with Maria Sklodowska-Curie Medical College in Warsaw
The academic communities of Ukraine and Poland are consolidating their efforts in the educational and scientific fields. A cooperation agreement was signed between West Ukrainian National University and Maria Sklodowska-Curie Medical College in Ternopil.
Discussing the areas of cooperation, Rector Oksana Desyatnyuk and Rector Krzysztof J. Filipiak agreed to develop educational programmes and activities through the creation of joint research groups and commissions; organise international conferences and symposia; exchange information and advisory services, share experience in designing projects, grants, and scientific publications; and engage in academic mobility.
Oksana Desyatnyuk noted: ‘The partnership between our universities will contribute to the development and strengthening of international relations. The multidimensional exchange of knowledge and experience will develop and improve education and science. I believe that this will be a fruitful and effective cooperation!’
‘Our cooperation is an important step towards the integration of Ukrainian and Polish potential. Together, we will provide quality educational services, train a new generation of specialists, and conduct modern scientific research,’ said Krzysztof J. Filipiak.
The meeting was attended by Uliana Koruts, Vice-Rector for International Relations, Liudmyla Havryliuk- Yensen, Director of the Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Institute of International Relations, Oksana Huhul, Head of the Department of International Tourism and Hospitality, Yuliia Voityshyn, Head of the International Relations Office, and Liliia Kondratska, Associate Professor of the Department of International Tourism and Hospitality.
Working together, we will create new opportunities for the development of science and make a significant contribution to the development of a single educational space!
