WUNU students met with representatives from the international consulting company Baker Tilly
A meeting was held with representatives of the international consulting company Baker Tilly. The purpose of the meeting was to familiarise students of the educational and professional programmes in Financial Management, Social Security, Banking, Finance, Customs and Taxation, Accounting and Taxation with current trends in financial consulting, auditing, corporate and tax planning, accounting and financial reporting.
During the presentation, Yevhen Rudov, Chief Audit Expert, provided an overview of the company's activities, its role in the global market of consulting and audit services, and the importance of financial planning and analytical work for strategic decision-making in the context of financial and economic activities of all business structures. Students received comprehensive information on all aspects of the company's activities, as well as internship programmes and opportunities for further employment and professional development in the international business environment.
The meeting enabled students to gain insight into the role of financial analysts in the modern business environment and to identify the professional competencies they need to develop during their studies to ensure employability in the modern labour market. Company representatives shared practical advice on how to successfully pass the internship selection process, pass an interview, and emphasised the importance of continuous self-improvement and professional development. They also discussed the specifics of employment and work in international companies.
