Training session ‘Induction-simulation’ for students and graduates of the Accounting and Taxation study programme
Starting on 7 October, a series of training sessions on induction simulation for students and graduates of the Accounting and Taxation programme will be held for three weeks at the West Ukrainian National University with the participation of Deloitte representatives under the leadership of Ihor Katsiubii, Team Leader in Deloitte's Audit Department.
Participants in the Jump In Intensive have the opportunity to take part in a realistic simulation of the audit process, gaining practical knowledge and skills necessary for effective work in the field of auditing and accounting.
The event was also attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Andrii Kizyma, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty, Iryna Fedorovych, and the guarantor of the Accounting and Taxation programme, Nataliia Pochynok. They emphasised the importance of practical training for students and noted the role of such initiatives in the training of specialists who are able to succeed in the labour market.
Students have the opportunity to analyse financial information in real time, work with audit documentation and discuss the results of their work with Deloitte professionals. Thanks to this interactive form of learning, students and graduates gain valuable experience that will help them in their future careers.
The event was well received by the students and demonstrated the importance of collaboration between academia and business to ensure high quality education and the development of the professional skills of future professionals.
