Practical classes for journalism students
Journalism students from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of West Ukrainian National University took part in a live broadcast on Ukh Radio and told the audience why they chose the Legal Journalism study programme.
When you immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the radio studio, it's like being at home, very cosy. Taking part in a live broadcast is a new experience. It is very interesting to learn about the work of radio and it was also nice to share my thoughts about choosing a career,' says first year student Anastasia Tsitsiura.
The students also tried to record their first news bulletin and tried their hand at presenting. The founder of the radio station, Tetiana Fartushniak, explained how the newsroom works and gave the students practical advice on how to develop in professional journalism.
