For the third time, the Campus Council of West Ukrainian National University has organised an intensive workshop for students. This time, the meeting's topic was ‘Secure Internet: the basics of cybersecurity’.

Maksym Servatniuk and Oleksandr Musienko, cyber police officers of Ternopil region, were the speakers.

The students learned about current threats on the Internet, including various types of online fraud and how to protect themselves from it. They also learned about safe use of Internet resources and how to recognise suspicious websites and links. Cyberpolice officers Oleksandr and Maksym encouraged them to join the Brama project, which aims to counteract harmful information on the Internet.

In addition, a competition from the cyber police and Binance was presented. The competition will include four stages, during which participants will have the opportunity to pass logical thinking tests, solve quest tasks, and make video presentations. The winners, selected from the finalists, will be able to take an intensive offline course on cybersecurity and crypto protection.

Follow the information about the competition on the partners' resources and the BRAMA telegram bot @stopdrugsbot, where registration and terms of participation will be available.

We thank all the participants and hope that the new knowledge will help you protect yourself and your data online!
