Working meeting with Martin Taraj, Vice-Rector for Education at the Catholic University of Ružomberok
Martin Taraj, Vice-Rector for Education at the Catholic University in Ružomberok (Republic of Slovakia), paid a working visit to West Ukrainian National University.
Uliana Koruts, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Research (International Relations), spoke to the guest and noted: 'Today it is extremely important to develop cooperation between higher education institutions of different countries, as it opens up new opportunities for advancement, exchange of experience and creation of innovations. The partnership with such a leading university as the Catholic University of Ružomberok promotes intercultural dialogue, enriches the competences of the teaching staff and expands international practices for university students."
Martin Taraj said: ‘It is always a great pleasure for me to visit West Ukrainian National University and meet with the members of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, with whom we have been cooperating for a long time’.
Yurii Shcherbiak, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Professor of the Department of Information and Socio-Cultural Activities, joined the conversation: 'Our faculty has a reliable partner in Mr Martin, because joint research and educational projects are the key to the progress of our universities.
