First International Financial Forum ‘Fintech and Digital Transformation of the Financial Market: A Vision for the Development of the Banking and Insurance Business’ has finished its work!
On 23-26 October 2024, the First International Financial Forum ‘Fintech and Digital Transformation of the Financial Market: A Vision for the Development of the Banking and Insurance Business’ was held, organised by the Department of Financial Technologies and Banking of WUNU together with the Ukrainian-American Association of College Educators.
The scientific event brought together a wide range of experts, practitioners, government officials, academics and other participants from Ukraine and many other countries, including: Austria, the United Kingdom, Israel, the United States and Switzerland.
The second day of the forum started with the discussion platform ‘Fintech in the banking market development paradigm’ moderated by prof. Andriy Krysovatyy, Doctor of Economics, Chairman of the Academic Council of West Ukrainian National University, Head of the Yuriy Department of Finance and Anatoliy Guley, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Chairman of the Board of the Interbank Currency Exchange, Vice President of Crowe, digital economy expert.
The participants continued the discussion during the next - third - discussion platform ‘Digitalisation and digitisation of the insurance market: strategic vectors of reform’, moderated by prof. Olha Kneisler, Doctor of Economics, Head of the Department of Financial Technologies and Banking, and Oleksandr Bernaziuk, PhD, CEO of the Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine.
The fruitful discussions of the forum participants facilitated the exchange of experience, ideas and opinions to address the current challenges of financial market transformation using the latest financial technologies that meet the current global trends of digitalisation.
