WUNU joined the campaign to plant Carpathian oak trees
Recently, the team of West Ukrainian National University supported the initiative of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University and took part in the campaign to plant Carpathian oak saplings.
The initiative is timed to coincide with the 110th anniversary of the creation of the Legion of Ukrainian Sich Riflemen, a military formation that has become a symbol of unity, courage, and resilience of the Ukrainian people.
Vice-Rector for Social and Economic Development Vasyl Bulavynets, Deputy Director for Educational Work of the PCEPIT WUNU Oleh Vatslavskyi and students of the college joined the planting.
“This event is not only a tribute to the heroes of the past, but also an important contribution to environmental protection. We must preserve the historical heritage and support initiatives that unite us in these difficult times,” said Vasyl Bulavynets, Vice-Rector for Social and Economic Development.
The event was a decisive move towards uniting the efforts of the Ukrainian scientific community and youth in the fight to preserve historical memory and natural heritage.
