Studying under the Labour Economics course
Recently, WUNU's International Centre for Culture and Development offered students the opportunity to study under the Labour Economics course developed by the renowned CERGE-EI Foundation.
The course covered key concepts and trends in modern labour economics. During the course, students explored important topics such as labour supply and demand, human capital, gender, race, unemployment and mobility.
The course combines theoretical knowledge with real-life examples to help students better understand the role labour economics plays in their personal and professional lives, how labour markets function and how they are affected by various factors.
The course was attended by second-year, third-year and fourth-year students majoring in Business Communications and Translation.
It was a great opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of labour market dynamics and prepare for professional challenges, while gaining a valuable addition to their curriculum.
We are grateful to CERGE-EI Foundation for the educational experience provided and to the teachers who made the course effective and interesting.
