Awarding certificates to the participants of the first Autumn School of EU Law
The participants of the first Autumn School of EU Law, held on 9-20 September, were awarded certificates at a special ceremony. The participants of the School, students and lecturers of the Law Faculty of the West Ukrainian National University, had an incredible opportunity not only to deepen their knowledge of EU law, but also to improve their legal English skills.
The Autumn School of EU Law covered the following topics: European contract law, consumer protection in the EU, analysis of the case law of the Court of Justice on the application of the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Directive, Europeanisation of criminal law, EU environmental law, rule of law and judicial protection, and EU migration law.
All classes at the School were taught in English by scholars from European universities and practitioners from EU institutions, including the Jagiellonian, Osnabrück, Warsaw, and Luxembourg Universities, the European Commission, and the European Council.
