The Fifth International School of World Educational Practices ‘New Way’, which is implemented jointly with the Netherlands Business Academy and is dedicated to communication, negotiation, non-violent dialogue, education, leadership and influence, has been running at the Communications Education and Research Centre of the West Ukrainian National University for a year. The school has once again served as an open international platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience, and has also been an important component in the development of professional networking.

Recently, a new workshop on ‘Effective Communication: Interactive Teaching Methods’ was held. The event was held in English and became a great opportunity to improve the language skills of students of the Bohdan Havrylyshyn Institute of International Relations of WUNU.

The workshop was conducted by the co-organiser of the school, an extremely engaging and knowledgeable speaker from the Netherlands - Jan van Zwieten, Rector of the Netherlands Business Academy, Emeritus Professor and member of the Supervisory Board of WUNU. His many years of experience and unique practical cases allowed the participants not only to theoretically understand new communication concepts, but also to apply them in practice.

Anastasia Martynevych, Deputy Director of the Communications Education and Research Centre, moderated the event, ensuring maximum immersion of the participants in the discussions.

The event took place in the video conference room equipped as part of the international Erasmus project 'WORK4CE: Cross-domain competences for healthy and safe work in the 21st century’.

The workshop covered such topics as interactive teaching methods, effective communication, development of emotional intelligence and the use of non-verbal communication. Participants learned about the latest techniques of successful interaction, communication strategies and approaches to building productive relationships in a professional environment.

This workshop provided not only an opportunity to gain useful knowledge, but also a chance to discuss the current challenges of modern education and develop new ideas for communication strategies and tactics aimed at promoting effective interaction in society.

At the end of the event, the head of the school, Oksana Koval, together with Jan van Zwieten, presented the participants with certificates.

We are thrilled that this training has ignited a passion for growth, especially since the International School of World Educational Practices 'New Way' has been a vibrant hub for many years. It's a place where people from diverse cultures and nationalities come together, creating a buzz of exciting ideas, vibrant emotions and true friendship. It's a beacon of support, understanding and a genuine desire to achieve new heights.
