Academic mobility of the faculty under the Erasmus+ KA171 project
During 3-7 February, academic staff of West Ukrainian National University took part in academic mobility within the Erasmus+ KA171 project.
Prof. Oksana Homotiuk (Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities), prof. Yurii Shcherbiak (Deputy Dean of the FSSH), assoc. prof. Oksana Pysarchuk (Department of Education and Pedagogy), lecturer Andriana Shyshak (Department of Education and Pedagogy) and prof. Andrii Melnyk (Department of Computer Science) paid a working visit to Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra (Slovak Republic).
WUNU's delegation learned the specifics of the educational process at the Constintine the Philosopher University in Nitra, in particular, studied the peculiarities of combining study programmes. During the meeting with the Vice-Rector for International Relations Martina Pavlikova and the Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Informatics, František Petrović, representatives of WUNU discussed the current problems of education in the neighbouring countries and identified prospects for future cooperation.
Oksana Homotiuk shared her experience of conducting scientific and research activities in Ukraine and identified the main features of implementing effective ideas of Slovak higher education institutions in the national educational process.
The professors are grateful to WUNU for the opportunity to share their experience and participate in the Erasmus+ international cooperation programme. This exchange of experience will help to improve the quality of the educational process at WUNU.
