Successful experience of a WUNU graduate: how university education became the basis for a career
On 12 February, the University hosted a lecture ‘From Learning to Practice: How university education provided the basis for my career' by Olha Mashtalir, Assistant to the Head of an American company, sole proprietor, MA graduate of the Department of International Economics of West Ukrainian National University in 2021.
Olha shared her own experience, describing how the knowledge she gained at university helped her build a successful career in an international company. She highlighted important issues such as the role of university education as a career start, the transition from theory to practice, the challenges of working for an American company, and advice to students on how to be competitive in the labour market.
The event aroused great interest among students, who received valuable advice from an alumna who has already applied her university knowledge in the real business environment.
