The Rector presented letters of commendation to the most active volunteers of the WUNU campus!
The young men and women of West Ukrainian National University are not only conscientious and responsible students, but also active volunteers who support the Ukrainian army in every way.
The Rector of WUNU Oksana Desyatnyuk met with the young people and presented them with letters of commendation for their patriotism, volunteering, active citizenship and the promotion of the university's proud traditions. She also awarded Nataliia Khudobei, the head of dormitory No. 4, with an award.
Prof. Desyatnyuk said: ‘We are proud that such active and patriotic young people study at our university. From undergraduates to postgraduates, from lecturers to associate professors, everyone loves their Alma Mater, and most of all, our Motherland. Ukraine above all is not just a phrase, it is our identity, reflected in our every action! We help our Armed Forces of Ukraine and pray for them, because our future is in their hands!’
The young men and women presented plans for the development of the campus to the administration, outlining their own vision of the university's progress.
Vasyl Bulavynets, Vice-Rector for Social and Economic Development, and Zoriana Kozak, Deputy Director of the campus, joined the conversation, actively encouraging the campus community and supporting the initiatives of the dormitory residents.
It was a pleasant surprise when the guys presented the girls with 3D models of cats on Valentine's Day, which symbolise warmth, attention and care.
