Project TURBO
The TURBO project (The Universities' Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises) is not just about training, it is also about caring for the psychological comfort of the participants.
In addition to teaching the theoretical foundations of entrepreneurship, we prepared something special for our participants - a canine-assisted therapy class! The participants came to this unique event with their children.
Professional dog handlers were invited to speak about canine-assisted therapy methods and to show how dogs can help with socialisation and emotional development, and how interaction with them helps people feel calmer and more confident.
Interaction with friendly, trained dogs improved the mood and helped both adults and children to unload emotionally. Everyone was happy and eagerly took pictures with the four-legged therapists.
The event was organised by the NGO ‘Educational and Social Innovations’. We thank everyone who joined us!
