Fulbright: an opportunity to study and research in the USA
The Kyiv office of the Institute of International Education (IIE) has announced the call for applications for Fulbright scholarships for study, internships, and research in the United States in the 2026-2027 academic year.
Fulbright is a world-renowned programme that has been providing opportunities for students, scholars and professionals from various fields to pursue education, research and international cooperation since 1946.
Fulbright programs for Ukrainians:
For senior students and university graduates:
Fulbright Graduate Student Program - studying at American universities for 1 to 2 years to obtain a master's degree.
Application deadline: 16 May 2025.
For young teachers and researchers:
Fulbright Research and Development Programme - conducting research in the United States for 6 to 9 months.
Application deadline: 1 November 2025.
For candidates and doctors of sciences, researchers and experts:
Fulbright Visiting Scholar Programme - conducting research at leading US universities, research centres, archives and libraries for 3 to 9 months.
Application deadline: 15 October 2025.
