Nord University invites students from all over the world to take part in the Summer School 2025, which will take place from 30 June to 4 July in the picturesque city of Bude, Norway.

This is a great opportunity to obtain new knowledge, gain international experience and meet future colleagues from different countries. Buda is not only an academic centre, but also a city that was named the European Capital of Culture in 2024. It is located 90 kilometres from the Arctic Circle, and in summer, the city enjoys a polar day when the sun does not set over the horizon.

The summer school offers three programmes, each of which is worth 3 ECTS credits:

Natural Adventure Experience - exploring active tourism and human interaction with nature.
Sustainable Blue Development in the High North - environmental challenges and opportunities in coastal regions.
Sustainable Tourism Development in Arctic Coastal Communities - analysis of trends and prospects of the tourism industry.
