Professor Oleksandr Dluhopolskyi is a Visiting Scholar at the University of Milan-Bicocca
In January-February 2025, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Economics and Economic Theory of the West Ukrainian National University Oleksandr Dluhopolskyi was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Milan-Bicocca (Center for Interdisciplinary Studies in Economics, Psychology and Social Sciences - CISEPS).
During his stay at the University of Milan-Bicocca, Oleksandr Dluhopolskyi attended a number of seminars and workshops conducted by professors and PhD students, consulted with Italian scientists on future joint projects and research, and on 24.02.2025 held his own seminar for CISEPS employees on “Technologies of the future: from techno-optimism to techno-pessimism” (https://ciseps.unimib.it/international-mobility).
During the seminar, lively discussions of this interdisciplinary topic and proposals for joint research on AI and IoT emerged. During the research visit, Dr. Oleksandr Dluhopolskyi also held talks with the CISEPS leadership on signing a framework agreement on cooperation between WUNU and the University of Milan-Bicocca.
