Information session for TURBO project participants on current programmes of the Ternopil Oblast Employment Centre

The participants of the TURBO project ‘The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises’ had the opportunity to learn about the current programmes of the Ternopil Regional Employment Centre.

Mykola Horodetskyi, Director of the Centre, presented opportunities for professional development and business support, and Natalia Brych, Head of the Employment Programmes Division, spoke about vouchers for training - vocational training, retraining, and professional upskilling. This is a great opportunity for IDPs to learn a new profession or improve their skills for free. The state reimburses the cost of training in in-demand specialities, which helps them find a job faster and adapt to the labour market.

The information on grant programmes for starting a business was particularly valuable, as many IDPs seek not only to find a job but also to create new opportunities for others. Information on compensation for employment was also useful, as it provides support for employers who hire IDPs.

The meeting, which took place at the Education and Research Centre for Social and Psychological Support and Resilience of WUNU, became an excellent platform for sharing experiences and discussing real ways to integrate IDPs into the economic life of our region.

Thank you for your constructive dialogue, support and useful advice! Together we are shaping new future and creating opportunities for a decent life for every Ukrainian!
