Training on psychological support for IDPs within the framework of the TURBO project
Within the framework of the TURBO project (The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises’, West Ukrainian National University) continues to implement measures aimed at supporting internally displaced persons.
One of the most important areas is psychological assistance and increasing stress resistance, which is especially important for participants in the context of forced displacement, loss of home and adaptation to new realities.
In particular, two training sessions have recently taken place:
Tetiana Nadvynichna, a specialist at the Educational and Research Centre for Social and Psychological Support and Resilience, conducted a training on first aid in crisis situations. Participants acquired practical skills in self-help, stress recognition and effective interaction with others.
Alla Senyk, a specialist at the Education and Research Centre for Social and Psychological Support and Resilience, conducted a resource training using metaphorical cards. Participants were able to dive into their inner world, find sources of energy, peace and inspiration, and share their stories in an atmosphere of trust and support.
Such events contribute not only to psychological recovery, but also to building a sense of community and security.
We are grateful to all participants and partners for their trust and engagement.
