Global Goals for Sustainable Development
In September 2015, during the 70th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, a UN Summit was held to adopt the Development Agenda for the post-2015 period. The global community consider this summit an event of historical significance. The Summit covered issues of socio-economic development, competitiveness of countries, environmental and energy security, global partnership for development. The volume of thorough preparatory work involved wa unprecedented.
After the Program came into force in Ukraine, work has also begun on establishing the Global Goals for Sustainable Development for 2016-2030, related objectives and indicators for monitoring achievement of such goals.
We invite you to participate in the joint university project of faculty representatives, those who are interested in one of the 17 Goals of Sustainable Development, or a combination of them, those whose scientific achievements will become the basis and guideline for joint activities and who have ideas and aspirations for the practical omplementation of Goals.
The project is implemented within the framework of the World Information Campaign for the United Nations Program on Sustainable Development (2016-2030).
