TNEU launches spring semester for Ukraine-Norway project
On April 6, Ternopil National Economic University hosted an online opening of the spring semester of the courses "Retraining and social adaptation of military officers, veterans and their families in Ukraine. Integration of the Norway-Ukraine project model into the state system".
A group of trainees began training under the Entrepreneurship programme. NORD University is the main project partner from Norway, while the international charitable foundation "International Foundation for Social Adaptation" is the partner and coordinator in Ukraine. The project is funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The students were greeted by the rector of TNEU Andriy Krysovatyy, the President of IFSA Volodymyr Rubtsov, the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Oksana Desyatnyuk.
The Ukraine-Norway project is a unique opportunity for former servicemen to acquire a new profession, discover their talents, adapt to the realities of civilian life, and find like-minded friends.
We appreciate Norway's support and that it has not stayed away from events in Ukraine, but instead has extended a helping hand in the rehabilitation of not only servicemen but also their families.
Professional retraining in the spring semester will be conducted remotely with the support of NGO "Educational and Social Innovations".
