FCIT students have developed a website to assist the Monastyrysk District Hospital
This year a project of decentralized crowdfunding platform "Axilium" was created and implemented at the Faculty of Computer Information Technologies of Ternopil National Economic University during the Winter IT School (project leaders: Associate Professors Honchar and Melnyk.
Schools graduates - Danyil Demianiuk (Ternopil Classical Gymnasium) and Yaroslav Shkira (Nazarii Yaremchuk School-Lyceum #6) were also involved in the implementation of the project. The main objective of the project is to create a potential crowdfunding platform for Ukraine as a tool for financing investment projects and activation of entrepreneurial activities, as well as implementation of innovative, social, cultural or business projects.
Due to the difficult situation in the country (COVID-19), students of the Faculty of Computer Information Technologies have decided to join volunteers who help in difficult times around the world. The decision was made to use the website for charity, as at the time of quarantine it was ready for use.
Since the Monastyryskyi Raion has become the epicenter of coronavirus in Ternopil, the students and teaching staff decided to raise funds for the needs of the Monastyrysk District Hospital. The students of the faculty contacted the representatives of the medical institution in order to obtain the necessary information and details that should be indicated on the website. They received a letter of response with the necessary data. The site's functionality allows the hospital to review from whom and how much money has been sent as assistance, and to thank the donors.
In the long term, there is a desire to use the created resource for other institutions that need financial assistance.
Don't be indifferent and take care of yourself!
We invite all high school and college graduates to join the TNEU Faculty of Computer Information Technology Winter IT school.
