Second International Week, I-WEEK’2020, has started at the Classical University of Ternopil!
Participants of the opening ceremony of the Second International Week, I-WEEK’2020, were welcomed at West Ukrainian National University - the classical university of Ternopil. International Week is a unique opportunity for everyone to exchange ideas and new experiences, develop and strengthen cooperation with new partners, participate in discussions, and expand their worldview.
First International Week, held in September 2019, gathered guests and partners at Ternopil Economic National University. A year passed, changes have come and gone, and on August 25, 2020 our university became a classical institution - West Ukrainian National University. This is the result of many years of hard work of the teaching staff, students, alumni, friends and partners who help us to be innovative, multicultural, open-minded.
The I-WEEK’2020 was opened by the WUNU rector Andriy Krysovaty: "Welcome to all the participants of the Second International Week at the Classical University of Ternopil - West Ukrainian National University. Our classical university is built on a deep understanding of great values. Understanding nurtured by thinking, work, studies, personal experience, exchange of views and opinions, sometimes even arguements with colleagues and partners, providing a better understanding of the fundamental values of our human existence. We accumulate the experience of the world's leading universities, supporting and implementing European standards and world values. I wish everyone productive work, interesting discussions, innovative ideas, and new contacts to further international cooperation for the development of partner universities and progress of our countries".

We are sincerely grateful to our foreign guests who, despite their busy schedule, found the time and opportunity to express their support for this project initiative.
We are convinced that the International Week will expand the perspective and intercultural climate of our university: it will inspire activities that develop leadership and promote social and moral responsibility. Undoubtedly, International Week is a chance for each of us to hear different points of view from around the world and to have meaningful conversations about current issues.
We firmly believe that during the International Week each of us will have a unique opportunity to meet and communicate with the most influential people in various fields of education and science, which will allow us to confidently accept modern challenges and continuously strive for self-improvement and professional growth.
