Seminar for participants of Norway-Ukraine project
A seminar for the organizers of the Norway-Ukraine project was held today at the Classical University of Ternopil. Representatives of West Ukrainian National University aimed to exchange experiences on best practices in the implementation of project tasks and the results of cooperation with regional representatives of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs and local authorities.
During the work, the seminar participants exchanged experiences on involving teachers in the educational process, the distribution of teaching time, the organization of lectures, practical training and internships, field trips in the regions.
Addressing the audience, Rector of WUNU Andriy Krysovatyy noted, "The educational process for students of the Norway-Ukraine project is organized using the latest teaching techniques, which are based on the best European experience. The case method is practiced, which includes not only lectures and practical classes, but also specific situations, business games to discuss and develop successful strategies and solutions."
Liudmyla Marchenko, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 9th convocation, a member of the Supervisory Board of WUNU, a graduate of the Norway-Ukraine project, addressed all those present, "In this project, I went through all the stages - from listener to coach, because I am the wife and daughter of servicemen. Therefore, I understand very well the needs and problems of social adaptation of servicemen and members of their families. The team of West Ukrainian National University makes every effort to make this project effective and efficient, because it understands the importance of its work in the project."
"It is gratifying that Norwegian colleagues support Ukraine and give us the opportunity to do such an important thing together - to help retired servicemen feel the support and care of society", said Oksana Desyatnyuk, Vice-Rector for Research and Academic Affairs at WUNU.
The next meeting is scheduled for December 2, 2020, where everyone will discuss the problems of quarantined universities and the experience of Nord University.
