  The Office of Lifelong Professional Development directs its activities to provide educational services in the field of continuing education, retraining and improving the level of professional competence and qualification of specialists for the domestic economy.

  Retraining and professional development of specialists is accompanied by continuous updating of curricula to take into account the needs of life and developments of science, as well as the requirements of the Bologna process, preparation of new-generation textbooks, introduction of interactive technologies in the educational process and integration of education with practice.

  Curricula meet the requirements of European educational standards and ensure high competitiveness of graduates in the labor market.

 The main aims of the Office include the organization and creation of the necessary conditions for continuing postgraduate studies in order to deepen, expand, update knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies of managers and specialists of the economy of Ukraine, as well as the necessary conditions for obtaining a second specialty through retraining in accordance with scientific and technological progress and requirements labor market.

 The objectives of the Office:

  - continuous modernization of facilities, increase of personnel potential, improvement of methodical and organizational support of educational process in the field of postgraduate education and professional development according to the European and national standards of system of postgraduate economic education;

  - introduction and implementation of modern technologies of professional development and advanced training of personnel for the domestic economy in accordance with the requirements of innovative development of education, market economy and democratization of Ukrainian society;

  - practical implementation of the principle of forward-thinking training of personnel for the economic system of Ukraine.

  - facilitating innovative development of the individual, their ability to adapt to the conditions of dynamic transformations of society and economic conditions;

  - meeting the needs of the individual in intellectual, cultural and spiritual development, focus of the individual on preservation and furtherment of humanitarian social values;

  - promoting the civic responsibility of the individual, the ability to live in a modern civilization and a developed market economy, the democratic development of society.
