  The staff of the Department of Accounting and Taxation of WUNU trains specialists in the following educational programs:

 - Accounting and Taxation (bachelor's degree, educational and professional program);
 - Accounting and Control in the Public Sector of the Economy (Master's Degree Program);
 - Accounting and Taxation of Entrepreneurship (Master's Degree Program);
 - International Accounting (Master's degree program).

  During their studies, in addition to general disciplines, students study the following professional disciplines:

Educational and Professional program “Accounting and Taxation” (Bachelor): Regulatory and instructional support of business and accounting, Fundamentals of accounting and taxation, Fundamentals of automation of accounting and taxation, Financial accounting, Accounting and reporting according to international standards, Management accounting, Sectoral accounting, Accounting and reporting in the public sector of the economy, Accounting and taxation of business processes of the enterprise, Automation of accounting processes

Educational and Professional program “Accounting and Taxation of Entrepreneurship” (Master's degree): Organization of accounting and tax planning, Financial reporting and analytical tools for making management decisions, Organization of audit and financial control, Automation of reporting, Accounting in enterprise management
Educational and Professional program “Accounting and Control in the Public Sector of the Economy” (Master's Degree): Organization of accounting and tax planning, Financial reporting and analytical tools for making management decisions, Organization of audit and financial control, Accounting and analysis in the management of public sector entities, Control in the public sector of the economy

Educational and scientific program “International Accounting” (Master's degree): Organization of accounting and tax planning, Financial reporting and analytical tools for making management decisions, Organization of audit and financial control, Accounting and taxation of international companies, Accounting system of the European Union, Reporting according to international standards, Accounting and business performance management, Research work

  After graduating from the Department of Accounting and Taxation, graduates can hold the following positions: chief accountant; chief economist; chief auditor; CFO; head of the control and audit department; head of the finance department; head of centralized accounting; head of a small enterprise; accounting manager; auditor; expert accountant; accountant-auditor; tax and fee consultant; expert in the regulation of social and labor relations; social responsibility expert; economist in accounting and business analysis; economist in taxes and fees; economic consultant; other managerial positions in the management of enterprises, structural units.

 The Department of Accounting and Taxation actively cooperates with the following institutions and organizations, namely controlling bodies – the Main Department of the State Treasury Service of Ukraine in the Ternopil region and the Main Department of the State Tax Service in the Ternopil region; institutions and organizations of state ownership, such as: Department of Education and Science of Ternopil City Council, Ternopil Regional Center for retraining and advanced training of public authorities, local governments, state enterprises, institutions and organizations, Ternopil Regional Municipal Center for Tourism, Local History, Sports and excursions of student youth, Ternopil Regional Center for Ecological and Naturalistic Creativity of Student Youth, SE "Ternopilmiskgaz", as well as private enterprises, companies, firms, among which are: Viknar'off  (LLC "Terviknoplast"), LLC “SE Bordnetze Ukraine”, LLC “Stellar”, BMU “Prombud ”, LLC “Ternopilbud”, LLC “Step”, LLC “Integral”, LLC “TernopilMAZservice ”LTD, PJSC Ternopil-Hotel, where students have the opportunity to gain practical experience, participate in internships, to apply for jobs. Especially useful and fruitful is the cooperation of the department with companies in the field of consulting, accounting and auditing services, in particular the International Company KPMG Ukraine (LLC "KPMG-Ukraine", Kyiv), Yu Control (LLC "Yu-Control", Kyiv), International Audit Company "Grant Thornton" (Kyiv), LLC Audit Firm "Consul" (Ternopil), LLC "Ter Audit" (Ternopil), LLC "Voloshin" (Ternopil), LLC "Soft World" (Ternopil)

 The Department of Accounting and Taxation implements international cooperation with foreign partners: Sopot Higher School (Poland); University of Grenoble, (France); Olsztyn University (Poland); Technical University of Košice (Slovakia); Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of Great Britain (UK).

 The department's strategy for its graduates is aimed at helping all those who need it to find employment as soon as possible. First of all, preference is given to graduates who have graduated with “excellent” and “good” grades, have knowledge of accounting, analysis and audit of enterprises and organizations, know their regulatory framework, etc.
