Department of Security and Law Enforcement

   
The staff of the Department of Security and Law Enforcement WUNU trains specialists in the following educational programs:

- Law enforcement activities

- Economic security and financial investigations

- Management of financial and economic security

 During their studies, in addition to general disciplines, students study the following disciplines of professional orientation:

 Specialty law enforcement (EPP law enforcement; economic security and financial investigations): Fundamentals of gun ownership and fire training; Tactical and special training; Civil security; Fundamentals of tactical medicine; Police deontology; Judicial and law enforcement agencies; Information and analytical support and secrecy regime; Professional and psychological training of law enforcement officers; Preventive activities of law enforcement agencies; Administrative law and process; Criminal Law; Criminal proceedings; International legal standards for the protection of human rights and freedoms; Criminalistics; Detective activity, Road safety and emergency driving; Operational and search activities; Criminal analysis; Shadow economy and security of the state and others.

 Specialty National Security: National security of Ukraine; Intellectual capital in the national security system of Ukraine; Information and analytical activities of special services; Territorial defense of Ukraine; Propaganda and counter-propaganda; Operational and investigative activities; International security in the field of countering terrorism, illegal migration and human trafficking; Economic security of the state; Legal support of national security; International humanitarian law; International and national standards for the protection of human rights and freedoms; Hybrid wars; Physical and combat training; Social security; Fundamentals of special services; Information security.

After completing their studies at the department, graduates can work in the following bodies/institutions:

Specialty Law Enforcement (OPP Law Enforcement; Economic Security and Financial Investigations): National Police; Paramilitary Guard; Police Protection Department; Judicial Protection Service; Private Security Structures; Security Service of Ukraine; Private Detective Agencies; National Anti-Corruption Bureau; Bureau of Economic Security, etc.

Specialization in national security: government agencies (national security specialist); law enforcement and specialized agencies; security firms; anti-corruption agencies; military structures; civil servants in the security sector; heads of security departments in firms and enterprises.
