The staff of the Department of Security and Law Enforcement WUNU trains specialists in the following educational programs:

- Law enforcement activities

- Economic security and financial investigations

- Management of financial and economic security

 During their studies, in addition to general disciplines, students study the following disciplines of professional orientation:

 Specialty law enforcement (EPP law enforcement; economic security and financial investigations): Fundamentals of gun ownership and fire training; Tactical and special training; Civil security; Fundamentals of tactical medicine; Police deontology; Judicial and law enforcement agencies; Information and analytical support and secrecy regime; Professional and psychological training of law enforcement officers; Preventive activities of law enforcement agencies; Administrative law and process; Criminal Law; Criminal proceedings; International legal standards for the protection of human rights and freedoms; Criminalistics; Detective activity, Road safety and emergency driving; Operational and search activities; Criminal analysis; Shadow economy and security of the state and others.

 Specialty management (EPP management of financial and economic security): Legal basis for combating economic crime; Protection of state and commercial secrets; Valuation of property and business; Legal bases of counteraction to economic crime; Shadow economy and state security; Management of economic security of organizations; Corporative management; Organization management; Knowledge management; Business security.

 After graduating from the department, graduates can work in the following bodies / institutions:

 Specialty law enforcement (EPP law enforcement; economic security and financial investigations): National Police; Paramilitary guards; State Police Protection Service; Judicial Protection Service; Private security structures; Security Service of Ukraine; Private detective agencies; National Anti-Corruption Bureau; Bureau of Economic Security.

 Specialty management (EPP management of financial and economic security): State Fiscal Service; State Audit Office; State Financial Monitoring Service; All types of enterprises; Banking institutions.

The department actively works with the following institutions and organizations: Main Directorate of the National Police in Ternopil; Ternopil Security Police Department; Ternopil Research Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine; Academy of Internal Affairs; Lviv State University of Internal Affairs; Ternopil Oblast Patrol Police Department; Ternopil Oblast Department of Strategic Investigations; “Holmes” Private Detective Agency; Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv; National University of Law named after Yaroslav the Wise; Vadym Hetman Kyiv National University of Economics; University of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine; Odessa National Economic University; SHEI "University of Banking", where students also have the opportunity to learn practical experience, participate in internships, internships, employment.

The department implements international cooperation with foreign partners: Shota Rustaveli Georgian State University (Georgia); Higher School of Occupational Safety Management in Katowice (Poland); DKlex Academy M. (Estonia).
