BUP focuses on sustainable development, environmental protection and democracy in the Baltic Sea region. BUP supports the key role that universities play in democratic, peaceful and sustainable development.

The organization offers a platform for learning, networking and knowledge sharing. The organization's activities are aimed at helping professionals succeed in their work, providing academic and non-academic professionals with best practices and effective solutions to internationalization and providing a platform for strategic exchange. The association works with key stakeholders and seeks to facilitate and promote responsible international education in Europe and beyond.

European University Association
The European University Association (EUA) represents more than 800 universities and national rectors' conferences in 48 European countries.
The main mission of the EUA is to promote a harmonious system of European higher education and research by actively supporting its members as autonomous institutions in developing the quality of teaching, learning and research.
The main priorities of the members of the organization and the EUA are formulated in the annual plan of the organization. Such priorities include:
• creation of the European Higher Education Area within the Bologna Process
• research and innovation
• internationalization of higher education and research
• improving the quality of European universities
• appropriate management, autonomy and stable funding
The EUA provides opportunities for members to share best practices by participating in mutual learning projects and activities, involving a wide range of universities.

The organization works to ensure the integrity of intellectual and scientific work in institutions and society, thereby strengthening trust in the relationship between universities and their communities, whether local, regional, national or global.
The Eastern-European University Network
The Eastern-European University Network
The John Paul II Catholic University in Lublin is the leader of the network. The aim of the network is to cooperate in research, educate students and establish contacts between universities. This goal is achieved through several activities, including the distribution of international grants and research projects, the exchange of research services, the use of infrastructure, the implementation of joint educational projects, such as international curriculum development, student and teacher exchange, or the preparation and publication of joint research articles.
