Project Title: Synergy of educational, scientific, managerial and industrial components for climate management and prevention of climate change / CLIMAN

The aim of the project is to help universities in Georgia and Ukraine become centers for the development of climate management research to accelerate integration into the world climate market and implement global climate regulation requirements by implementing best European practices in climate change prevention, adaptation, and consequence minimization.
Project objectives:
- To update existing master's programs by developing an interdisciplinary training module "Climate Management".
- To establish Climate Management Advisory Centers at partner universities and ensure their sustainable development.
- To promote the development and strengthening of the institutional capacity of partner universities to develop recommendations for the industrial, transport, energy, tourism sectors and local authorities in the field of climate change prevention, adaptation, and mitigation.
Project activities:
- Analysis and study of European experience in implementing educational and practical activities in climate management.
- Development of the Climate Management training module at partner universities.
- Establishment of Climate Management Advisory Centers.
- Implementation of the updated master's program in partner universities.
- Quality management.
- Dissemination and sustainability of project results.
- Project management.
Expected results:
- Updated master's program due to the developed training module "Climate Management".
- Qualified staff.
- Climate management centers have been established at partner universities.
- A roadmap for cooperation between the industrial, transport, agricultural, and tourism sectors and local authorities in implementing climate management policies has been developed.
- Qualified climate managers.
The project is co-funded by the European Union's Erasmus+ Program.
