WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 We invite you to take part in the International Conference of Young Scientists "Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Development", which will be held on 10-11 May 2024 at West Ukrainian National University (Ternopil, Ukraine).

 A workshop "HR Profession and Recruitment in IT" organised by the Alumni Relations Coordinators was held in the Electronic Resources Hall of West Ukrainian National University.

 Students of the Education and Research Institute of Communications of the educational and professional programme "Negotiation Psychology and Mediation" visited the immersive multifunctional hub of West Ukrainian National University, where they met with Alberto Ortiz, a 3D designer and lecturer at the Department of Multimedia of the UCAM Catholic University of Murcia (Spain).

 Anica Djamic, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to Ukraine, and Vitalii Zapukhliak, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Croatia in the Western Region, paid a working visit to West Ukrainian National University.

 As part of the Diplomacy and International Cooperation project, on 15 February at 13:00, a meeting will be held with Maryna Honcharuk, co-founder of the Ukrainian Turkic Centre and curator of Ukrainian-Azerbaijani projects.

 West Ukrainian National University held a graduation ceremony for masters of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.

 Over the course of two days, West Ukrainian National University hosted meetings with experts in audit, accounting, taxation and consulting - representatives of the international Big Four audit company Deloitte!

On 8 and 9 February, workshops were organised in the WUNU Electronic Resources Hall with the participation of Igor Katsiubii (Audit Team Manager, Energy and Resources), Kyrylo Pinskyi (Audit Team Manager, Customer and Industrial Products), Andrii Kizyma (Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting of WUNU) and Nataliia Pochynok (Head of the Accounting and Taxation Department).

The agenda of the events included insights into the work of the Deloitte Group in Ukraine and globally; key businesses and areas of work at Deloitte; Deloitte as a perfect start to a career; approaches to work, innovation and technology as a driver of business development; Deloitte clients and projects; and the truth or myth that Deloitte is exclusively about work and business.

Participants also took part in an interactive training session entitled "Do the numbers lie: how to read financial statements?"

The speakers once again emphasised the demand for audit, accounting and taxation specialists in the labour market, career prospects and high salaries.

All participants received branded souvenirs from the company. The most active students were awarded valuable gifts.

 Recently, a career guidance event "Discover the Magic of Tourism and Hospitality 2024" was organised by the staff of the Department of International Tourism and Hospitality Business of the B.D. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations.

 The Education and Research Centre for Social and Psychological Support and Resilience of West Ukrainian National University actively develops and strengthens the skills of resilience and psychological support among the educational community.

 On the occasion of the Day of Unity of Ukraine, West Ukrainian National University hosted a charity event "Undefeated Ukraine!", organised and performed by the staff of the Office for Liberal Arts and Personal Development of the University together with the Centre for Analytical, Methodological and Logistical Support for the Development of Educational Activities of the Region. The event was organised for children of servicemen.
