WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 Within the framework of cooperation between West Ukrainian National University and the Technical University of Dresden (Germany), a Scientific and Practical Conference (with international participation) "Ukraine Goes Digital" was held by the Department of International Economics of the B.D. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations.

 As part of the course "European Migration Law", 2nd year students of the Law Faculty of West Ukrainian National University took part in a simulated court hearing on "Forced expulsion of a foreigner from Ukraine".

 The Education and Research Institute of Communications of West Ukrainian National University will host a two-week training course on "Psychological Features of Crisis Negotiations for Police Officers in Extreme Conditions of Service". The target group will be police officers of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Main Police Department. Training will focus on crisis negotiations in the course of ensuring the protection of citizens' rights and freedoms, combating crime, maintaining public safety and conducting special operations.

 A momentous event took place at West Ukrainian National University - a gala conference on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the B.D. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations.

 On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of B.D. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations of WUNU, the staff of the Department of International Economics held a scientific and educational workshop for schoolchildren and students on the topic of "Inclusivity in the implementation of Global Sustainable Development Goals".

 Within the framework of cooperation between West Ukrainian National University and TU Dresden, the staff of the Department of International Economics of the B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations invites students and teachers to take part in the scientific and practical online conference (with international participation) "Ukraine is going digital", which will be held on 5 December 2023 at 15:00.

 The VI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Innovations in Education: Realities and Prospects for Development" was organised by the Department of Education and Pedagogy of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of West Ukrainian National University.

 Teachers and students of the Department of Computer Engineering of the Faculty of Computer Information Technologies of West Ukrainian National University took part in the international conference IDDM2023, 6th International Conference on Informatics & Data-Driven Medicine (Bratislava, Slovakia).

 The second cycle of training sessions on "European Regionalism: Practical Implementation" for civil servants and local government officials has started at West Ukrainian National University. This year, the target audience of the event included employees of the Main Department of the National Police in Ternopil Oblast. The training is part of the Jean Monnet Programme project 101048216 - REFRAG - ERASMUS-JMO-2021-HEI-TCH-RSCH "Regional Integration: European Benchmark under the Challenges of Global Fragmentation (REFRAG)".

 Recently, the Ukrainian Negotiation Club held a meeting at the Education and Research Institute of Communications of West Ukrainian National University, coordinated online by Philip Brown, a negotiations expert and founder of the UK Negotiation Club.
